Enjoy a high-quality non-stop multiple-level square and line dance party for fun people on Wednesday night. Our dances are "European Style".

Also, we are completely free from politics! YAAAY! You'll enjoy great dancing without all the meetings! Leave your worries at the door. Just dance and have a wonderful time at FunDancers.

European Style gives you more of what you love about square dancing:

Multiple skill levels. Everyone dances together under one roof.
The dance cycle is based on projected attendance. It can easily be changed to fit the actual occasion. The main idea is that you get your favorite dance level some of the time, yet everyone gets to dance 50% or more of the time.
The dance cycle indicates the skill level required for each tip. A typical cycle is "M - M - P" which means two Mainstream tips followed by one Plus tip.
No obligation and no membership dues. Just show up and have fun.
No meetings, by-laws, elections, politics, etc. We focus only on what's important: continuous high energy dancing.
You get far more tips (5-6 per hour compared with 2-3 per hour at other clubs). More tips means more interaction with other fun people which means more fun and friendship for everyone.

B -- Beginner - our January beginners now dance Mainstream. We will start a new beginner dance series later this year.

PC -- Plus Class - for Mainstream dancers learning Plus. We will start a Plus Class later this year.

A1 -- Advanced One - an additional 50 calls (150 calls total)

A2 -- Advanced Two - an additional 40 calls (190 calls total)

L -- Line Dance - typically not cued (learn by seeing and doing)

R -- Round Dance - cued (prompted) ballroom-style dancing

What does it cost? $7. That's slightly more than other square dance clubs, but you get a LOT more. Our dances give you solid non-stop continuous fun for multiple skill levels. Compared to a movie, dancing is cheaper, more entertaining and much better for you!

May I bring friends who do not dance? Yes! We love spectators and brand-new dancers! Brand-new people get in FREE. Whenever we have brand-new dancers as visitors, we will provide some easy intro dancing suitable for brand-new beginners.

Is there a dress code? Not here! Wear what you choose!

Driving Directions to 2932 South I-35

I-35 South exit 185, stay on Frontage Road for 1.2 miles.

I-35 North exit 185, cross under, drive south for .5 miles.

Westside Community Center is just past S. Kreuger Avenue, next to Presbyterian Church.

We dance in the classroom -- go through the double doors leading away from the gym.
